It depends on the show. the organizer decides who pays tikit’s service fee (5% + $2 a ticket). when the buyer pays it, it’s shown on the event page before checkout, so the total is never a surprise.

Give your name at the door. the organizer checks you in from their guest list. having your ticket email handy on your phone helps.

If a show is cancelled and not rescheduled, you can get a full refund. if the date, time or main performers change in a way that means you can’t go, you may be eligible too. contact us within 48 hours of the show’s original start time with your order number. otherwise ticket sales are final. the full policy is in our terms.

Some shows are listed on tikit so you can find them, but the organizer sells tickets on their own site. those pages send you to the organizer’s ticket link, which is the right place to buy.

Yes. tap “follow” on their tikit page and you’ll get an email when they announce a new show. you can stop following in one click.

Make a free account, create your organization (your name, a photo and a short bio), then use “create event”. most people have a show on sale in about five minutes. if it’s easier, send us the date, time, price and a photo and we’ll set it up for you.

Tikit is built for live shows and the rooms they happen in. the fee is one flat, published rate (5% + $2 a ticket) that you can pass to buyers, splitting money with the band, venue or promoter is built in, every person gets paid their own share with a statement, and you get your own page, follower list and promo kit. and there’s a real person in Milwaukee to call when you need help.

Yes. add them to the event as co-hosts, and the lead organizer sets the split: even, custom %, or a guarantee (one person takes the first $X off the top to cover costs, then the percentages split the rest). each co-host sees only their own share (only the lead organizer sees the whole split) and gets an email if it changes. they can tap “looks good” if they like, but nothing waits on it: only a change request pauses a payout, until the split is revised. the split locks when the doors open, and each person is paid their share directly.
